Ah, so that’s what a professional illustrator looks like! While this early Adobe promo for illustrator is a funny bit of nerdy nostalgia, it must have been pretty shocking for all those illustrators that worked in-house in design agencies back in the day, soon to be given the elbow. “Now anyone can create high quality graphics and illustration”. Indeed.

    Adobe Illustrator is really a great tool (though not an easy one to use!). Unfortunatly is not the tool that makes good art. And this could be true for Adobe Illustrator as for Microsoft Word or for any eletric guitar!

    (Always so difficult to make something nice!)

    try using real traditional hand drafting with the human touch, not soul-less machine generated plop
