Flora’s Ships

flora ship
I’m a big fan of Jim Flora’s (1914-1998) excellent jazz and classical album covers of the 50s and 60s. He was also famed for his editorial and children’s books. But, until recently I hadn’t realised he also enjoyed painting ships. Check out this great collection of maritime paintings, there’s also a very insightful interview with the great man.
