invoke street art scheme

Temple Bar has unveiled a public art scheme that utilizes the city’s traffic signal boxes, based on a similar model that has been used internationally. Here’s a bit of video on the RTE news website on the scheme featuring ‘Maser’. (although curiously the domain name mentioned in the piece is still not registered). And here’s the original PDF brief for the scheme. If successful the scheme will be rolled out on a larger scale.

I thought any spare scrap of space in the city was in danger of being used for adverts. Fair play to DCC for thinking outside the (traffic signal) box!
