Illustrator Roger O’Reilly sends us his November Sketchbook for your viewing pleasure. This month he’s paid a visit to Madrid, ‘Hanging around with a bunch of na’er do wells intent on having a good time is not conducive to filling in a sketchbook and it wasn’t until the fug of the weekend began to clear on the Monday morning that I got a chance to exit the bars and wander about the city and do some doodling.’

Postgate collaborations with co-creator, artist and animater Peter Firmin on Bagpuss, Ivor The Engine, The Clangers and many more, fueled the imaginations of many children in the 60’s, 70’s and beyond and is a great testament to their craft, dedication and talent.
