An Oliver Jeffers Christmas

With no new Wallace & Gromit on our screens this christmas it’s a great opportunity for the birth of a new classic. Channel Four are broadcasting a 25 min adaptation of Oliver Jeffers’ award winning children’s book Lost And Found on Christmas Eve and repeated on Stephens Day.
It’s a co-production between the excellent Studio AKA and Contender Entertainment and has been adapted and directed by Philip Hunt. You can see some stills here where you can also check back for a trailer sometime soon.

Wow. This looks great. Kept the feel of the illustrations really well. There is a new Wallace and Gromit by the way. ‘A Matter of Loaf and Death’. On Christmas day BBC1. So we’ll be spoiled for classy animation on the telly this year. Huzzah!
