Topical ‘Art’ in the RHA? well who would have ever guessed it – they actually sound delighted. If it’s not the work of Asbestos we’ll eat our underpants. Probably.
[EDITORS NOTE: pass the salt and pepper, just confirmed it wasn't Asbestos - gulp!]

It looks to me the work of some carica/na/tourist (from the Merrion Square open air gallery!?).
I am bit surprised that this happened at the RHA, where they have five six staff sitting reading eating at the front desk as they keep their eyes open on the cct cameras (I am joking). But I am not surprised that this happened at the National Gallery too. The staff there (like all the museum staff in the entire world) look always so down and bored. They could’nt care the less about the arts in the gallery!!! (I am joking again) Anyway let see what will be next!
This is very funny. RTE is reporting they were told by the Taoiseachs office to remove the item from the news and issue an apology. Sounds like someone is getting very touchy.
Joking aside. It’s like something from North Korea.
Dissident relentlessly pursued by directive from the Taoiseacht’s orifice.
State broadcaster brought to book over ” disrespectful” programming.
The only Irish touch is that after all the fuss is over, the thing will be quietly buried, the case dropped due to bad publicity and the media encouraged to forget it ever happened.
It remains to be seen whether any petty revenge will be extracted through the dept of education

An idea for a scamp contributors project, perhaps? Not for the faint-hearted, I know, but it’s crying out to be done.

It seems the artist’s name in Conor Casby – a 35 yr old school teacher.
