Paper cut works from four Henri Matisse illustrated art books are currently on show in the Chester Beatty Library, Dublin, until 25th September.
IGI Member Kevin McSherry will be holding a one day workshop for beginners to intermediates in the Methodist Church hall on Brighton Road, Rathgar on May 28th and on June 18th. You can find out more about it here.

The Children’s Books Ireland Bisto Book of the Year Award were announced yesterday – with Chris Haughton winning the The Bisto Book of the Year Award and the The Eilís Dillon award for a first children’s book.

And that’s not all – the honour award for illustration went to Andrew Whitson for his work on Mac Rí Éireann while the special judges award was picked up by Oliver Jeffers’ for the Heart and the Bottle.
