These incredibly detailed illustrations for an Indian Mobile phone company were recent Cannes Lions winners. The concept is reminiscent of a creepy arm stretching scene from a 1960′s Sinbad movie…only with a tongue. Now that’s gotta hurt. The illustrators were Nishikant Palande, Jayvant Tambare, Nilesh Kore, and Mukesh Jadhav.
Illustrator Martin Handford’s Wally is pretty easy to spot for a change in this Dublin Where’s Wally world record attempt over the weekend.

Olivier Kugler, a ‘documentary illustrator’ has won the V&A Illustration award in the UK. The 30-page illustrated journal tells the story of the illustrator’s trip with Massih, a truck driver Kugler met in Tehran and accompanied for a four-day journey carrying bottled water down to a small island in the Persian Gulf. Let’s all be documentary illustrators, sounds like great fun.
