Leszek, Maureen and all at Fire have pleasure in inviting you to the official opening of The Copper House Gallery and to the unveiling of their exciting new €150,000 Arts Initiative.
Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Jimmy Deenihan T.D. will officially open the gallery and will launch the first element of the Arts Awards – a competition for illustrators.
Opening show is next 27th September 2011 with an exhibition of work by members of the Illustrators Guild of Ireland.

What inspired your return to writing?
There hasn’t been a stopping point. It just takes me longer because I’m older. The book that’s coming out in September has been two or three years in the making. I’m working on another book right now.

Brian Gallagher has been working towards a collection of paintings that deal with his interest and involvement in the scooter scene in Northern England around the early to late eighties.
